In total, there are two holiday periods during the 2024/2025 school year: summer holidays and winter holidays. Below are the official dates of school holidays in Bosnia and Herzegovina for this year:
- Summer holidays 2024: Thursday, June 13 to Saturday, August 31, 2024.
- First day of school: Monday, September 2, 2024.
- Winter break 2025: Wednesday, January 1st to Tuesday, January 28th, 2025.
- Last day of school for graduating students: Tuesday, May 6, 2025.
- Last day of school for all grades except graduating: Wednesday, June 11, 2025.

When are schools closed for holidays in the 2024-2025 school year?
