Peculiarities of holidays 2023 in Andorra

In 2023, Andorra has 14 public holidays. These dates are official non-working days. All companies and their branches can, as an exception, make them working with a transfer to another day by agreement. The exception is employees associated with tourism.

If such an employee is required to work on one of the days described below, his working hours must be paid. In addition to this, he will receive one non-working day (in fact, the postponement of the holiday). Here are the four holidays for which this rule applies:

  • January 1, 2023 (New Year);
  • March 14, 2023 (Constitution Day);
  • September 8, 2023 (Our Lady of Meritchell);
  • December 25, 2023 (Christmas).
