Holidays in Kazakhstan 2023 – transfers and non-working days
In total, there are 10 public holidays in Kazakhstan. These dates are non-working days for residents of the republic. If a public holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday, it may be moved to another business day. This is regulated by paragraph 3 of Article 85 of the Labor Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In addition to public holidays, there are two additional public holidays. This is Christmas (January 7) and Kurban-Aita. If they fall on Saturday or Sunday, they are not transferred.
