Public holidays in Moldova 2023

In this section, we have collected the holidays in Moldova 2023, when the residents of Stirana are given an official day off. If the holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday, then the first weekday after the weekend becomes a day off. A striking example: the New Year falls on Sunday, January 1, 2023. Therefore, the day off is moved to Monday, January 2.

According to Romanian mythology, the Earth is shaped like a disk. On the other side of it live Blazhins – anthropomorphic creatures who respect God and fast all year round and thus provide people with a great service.

Celebrating Blazhin Easter is a way to repay them for the good they bring. Since the Blazhins are not in contact with our world, they cannot know when Easter will come. Therefore, Romanians eat colored eggs and let the shells go downstream, from where it will fall into the world’s oceans, and then to Blazhiny.
