Public holidays in the Netherlands 2023 (list)

The following are public holidays in the Netherlands 2023. Most residents have a day off from work and study on these dates. The exception to the rule is Good Friday and Liberation Day. There are no non-working days on these holidays.

IMPORTANT! On public holidays, you are entitled to non-working days (except Good Friday and Liberation Day). But the collective labor agreement plays a decisive role. Check your collective bargaining agreement to make sure you are free on public holidays.
