Alphabet Day
This date marks the end of a scientific conference in the city of Monastir in 1908. It standardized the Albanian language, although it has been mentioned since 1332. Alphabet Day is also celebrated in Kosovo, North Macedonia and countries with an Albanian diaspora.

Liberation Day marks the departure of the Nazi army, although the date of November 29 is not entirely accurate. Tirana, the capital of Albania, was liberated on November 17, 1944, and celebrations were held on November 28.
